Bug Busters Pest Control Services, Inc. (BBPCS) is looking for a Field Apprentice that is interested learning the technical aspects of the growing pest management industry. This is an entry level position with the opportunity to grow very quickly. The pest management industry is unique in the fact that technical experience is not based on time, but on educational benchmarks. This allows someone to go from a Technical Apprentice to a Master Technician in as little as 2 years.

Responsibilities of Technical Apprentice - Pest Control:

Determining the kind of treatment required to eliminate a particular type of pest.
Advising customers on the kind of treatment required to eliminate identified pests.
Inspecting customers’ premises to identify pest problems.
Filling out all necessary paperwork upon completion of each job.
Communicating with office staff in order to schedule services with customers.
Applying suitable pesticides to infested areas by following the label instructions and complying with safety procedures.
Responding to customers’ requests for various pest control services.
Identifying opportunities to sell additional company services and products.
Adjusting pesticide products' mixtures according to the size of the infested areas.

Requirements of Technical Apprentice Pest Control:

No Experience Required – We will train you!
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license required with a good driving record
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required
Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with our great customers
The ability to work in all weather conditions.
