About Level 1 - HVAC Technician

Fayetteville, NC, USA Full Time Heating & Air ConditioningOur company is looking for a HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to install and repair appliances and furniture;
- Ability to physically manage painting, pressure washing, blower breezeways and parking lots;
- Maintenance of gas appliances;
- Diagnose problems, disassemble, part identification, ordering or fabricating, repair and reassemble;
- Requisition parts/materials needed for repair and preventative maintenance;
- Maintain, install, troubleshoot and repair all related HVAC equipment for production department;
- Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems;
- Maintains inventory of filters, refrigerant and related parts require to repair HVAC equipment;
- Provide quality customer service to all residents at all times;
- Experience using Rent Manager or other property management software (preferred);
- General maintenance knowledge;
- Experience using tablet, smart phone, and computer technology in apartment industry(preferred);
- 3+ years of recent maintenance experience in the Multi-Family Property Management industry (varied based on role);
- Monitor all life safety & HVAC equipment; document and notify Property Manager of any necessary repairs;
- Meet all time expectations set by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability;
- Functional knowledge of electrical work;
- Maintenance of gas appliances;
- Restaurant equipment experience is a plus;
- Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields;
- PLC controls experience helpful;
- Working understanding of HVAC, electrical, & plumbing trouble shooting;
- Electrical/mechanical certifications through accredited program helpful;
- 1 year maintenance experience;
- 1+ years’ experience working in the Apartment Industry;
- Access to personal hand tools + power drill;
- Bilingual is a plus;
- Basic Computer skills;
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required;
- HVAC certification
